The Alzheimer Society for the Kenora-Rainy River District is holding a series of sessions for caregivers and family members of people with Alzheimers or dementia.
One goes tonight at the Fort Frances Library from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Client Services Coordinator Mary O’Conner says the focus is on how to make the best of a visit with a person with Alzheimer”s or dementia.
Similar sessions will be held at the Rainy River Senior’s Depot on Wednesday night and Thursday night at Emo’s United Church.
Another session at the Fort Frances library today at 2 pm to 4 pm will explore the 10 warning signs of Alzheimers.
All of the sessions are free to attend.
