The Fort Frances Community Christmas dinner has been resurrected.
The Cridland family, injunction with the Flint House, have stepped forward after last week’s decision by the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau to cancel the event due to a lack of cooks.
Family spokesperson Dana Cridland says they were disappointed by the news and decided to come together and help out.
Cridland says they are now in the process of seeking volunteers and donations.
Monetary donations can be made to the event through Community Living Fort Frances and District.
Food will be collected as part of this Saturday’s Stuff A Cruiser event.
The dinner will again be held at Knox United Church on December 25.
Cridland says they are still in the process of work out details to deliver meals to those who can’t get down to the church on Christmas.
