The race in Thunder Bay-Atikokan was a real nail biter, but in the end the NDP’s Judith Monteith-Farrell took the riding.
Monteith-Farrell feels she and her party will be effective with a PC majority government.
“The work of an MPP is very much getting the voice of your riding heard, and you do that in a variety of ways. We’ll be a very strong opposition to Mr. Ford.”

Outgoing MPP Bill Mauro isn’t ruling out running for municipal politics.
