A quiet day on the forest fire front.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reports no new fires sparking yesterday and just one on Saturday.
There are still six active blazes, including the one near Poplar Hill First Nation which has now scorched over 37-thousand hectares and is listed as not under control.
Meantime, a restricted fire zone remains in place.
The MNRF says the forest fire hazard ranges from low to high with the highest hazard in the Fort Frances fire district and the far north of the Sioux Lookout district.
Officials are projecting the hazard to rise higher today.
