College teachers will be getting a raise of almost two percent a year for the next four years.
An arbitrator has released details of a contract settled with the Ontario Public Service Employees Union and the College Employee Council.
It includes a 7.75 per cent increase over the course of the contract.
There’s also language surrounding academic freedom, one of the issues that led to faculty walking off the job in October and November.
The 12 thousand college teachers across the province were forced back to work by the provincial government with outstanding issues in the dispute being sent to arbitration.
