Tim Horton is revealing the reason behind all the wool, the film crew and that huge toque and scarf atop the Fort Frances store last Saturday.
It’s for a video now on the Canadian coffee chain’s social media sites.
A crew arrived last week to “yarn bomb” trees, mail boxes, a park bench and a basketball hoop attached to long strings of red yard, which in the video, shows leading to the Tim Hortons store which was complletely decorated with a huge toque and scarf on the roof.
Company Vice-president Glenn Hollis says it all tied with their warm wishes campaign which promoted generosity and sharing warmth.
Hollis says Fort Frances was selected for the production based on input from local store owner Gord McQuarrie.
Hollis says the company was not disappointed and is pleased with the final product.
The video, however, won’t be shown on television.
Instead, Tim Hortons has posted it on its social media sites to be shared.
