It’s going to be another warm day in the Borderland region, but Environment Canada has lifted a Heat Warning that had been put in place yesterday for the area and other parts of northwestern Ontario.
Environment Canada says such warnings are issued when at least two consecutive days reach or surpass 29 C with overnight lows of 18 C.
It says its latest analysis suggests the criteria required for a heat warning won’t be met today.
It is still going to be hot and humid, so ensure you drink plenty of cool liquids and keep cool by dressing for the weather and spending a few hours in a cool place.
