A lobby group for tourist outfitters in the Rainy River and Lake of the Woods areas has decided to disband.
The Northwestern Ontario Tourist Association is calling it quits.
Gerry Cariou from the Sunset Country Travel Association says it’s disappointing because the tourism industry seems to be rebounding.
Cariou says the only lobby group left in the region is the Kenora District Campowners Association and he’s hoping some NWOTA members
decide to join that organization.
