A very “senior” choir will take to the stage at Rainycrest Long Term Care home this afternoon.
The Hallet Hall Choraliers are all residents of the home.
Director Diane Maxey, who helps out at the home, says it was created at the request of Joe Gervais, one of residents.
This will now be their third performance, done every year at around this time.
The choir numbers about 25, most of whom are in the their 80’s and ’90’s.
Maxey says they usually practice once a week for about six weeks in preparation of the concert.
The group performs at 2 p.m. and the concert is open to the public.
