Bill Godin from Devlin and Leroy Wilson from International Falls can now call themselves three-time Kenora Bass International Champions.
Godin and Wilson topped the leaderboard with a three day weight of 55.58 pounds, beating their nearest competitor by over two pounds and winning the
first prize money of 21 thousand dollars.
Godin says three great days of weather actually helped them, because they like fish the big water and that means calm is better.
The top four teams this year were all former KBI champions, with Matt Rydberg and Brian McNanney placing second, Jamie Bruce and Bryan Gustafson finishing third, and father and son team Jeff and Jim Gustafson improving to fourth place.
