More help for the forest industry.
The federal government is giving $780-thousand to consultant FP Innovations.
Spokesperson John Pineau says they’re setting up a program to connect area businesses with an advisory network.
“It will help small and medium enterprises to innovate, to modernize, to improve their productively and efficiencies. We’re connected with expert specialists, researchers and scientists in our labratories.”
That network will help businesses implement clean energy solutions and create new building systems to meet the province’s new wood building codes.
