Conservative MPP Sam Oosterhoff is on a quick tour of the region as the Conservative Leadership vote gets underway.
The MPP for Niagara-West Glanbrook as in Thunder Bay meeting with local party members on Friday to discuss issues affecting the Northwest and, of course, the leadership race.
He tells us he’s backing Christine Elliott, who also recently stopped by the region.
Oosterhoff also spoke with party members in Dryden yesterday, and is speaking at the Emo Inn from 12 o’clock to 2 o’clock local time this afternoon.
Despite representing a Southern Ontario riding, Oosterhoff says he feels that the North represents what’s best about Ontario.
Oosterhoff made headlines when he was elected at the age of 19, making him the youngest serving MPP. (Photo Supplied)
