The House representative for Koochiching County expects to be called back to the State capital very soon.
Minnesota lawmakers ended the regular session on Sunday without an agreement on a bill to help fund infrastructure projects.
District 3A Rep, Rob Ecklund expects the Governor to call a special session.
Ecklund says the House did pass the bonding bill, but the Senate added an amendment that didn’t get back in time for the House to approve it.
He says if the session is called, he expects they’ll be able to wrap up discussion and approve the bill in one day.
The bill includes funding for a new airport terminal in International Falls and funds for the Grand Mound historical site, located west of the Falls.
