Environment Canada has issued extreme cold warnings for much of Northwestern Ontario.
Late this evening, wind chill values near -40 are predicted for areas including Dryden, Ignace, Fort Franes, Rainyy Lake, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, and Kenora.
Environment Canada says in those conditions, frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin.
You’re advised to check on older family members, friends, and neighbours, and keep emergency supplies in your home. (File Photo)
