Environment Canada says parts of the region should prepare for a dump of snow this week.
A special weather statement is out for the Dryden, Ignace, Fort Frances, and Sioux Lookout areas.
Officials are predicting 15 to 25 centimetres of snow will fall Wednesday into Thursday, with the highest amounts expected to fall along a line from Fort Frances to just north of Lake Nipigon.
They say rain is expected today and tomorrow, but it will change to snow Tuesday night when northeast winds are predicted to bring cold air in from the Arctic.
